There is no known cause of Asperger Syndrome. It isn't anybodys fault and nobody did anything to cause it. You can't catch it like measles or a cold.

It is thought that it is largely
passed on through our genes
as there is often more than
one person in a family with an
Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

Aspergers is more common in boys. It affects 9 times more
boys than girls.
